Joe Jack has arrived in Puerto Vallarta. After leaving Luna Park, his two phenomenally successful restaurants in San Francisco and Los Angeles, Joe has followed his dream of living in Mexico where he has opened Joe Jack’s Fish Shack with a cozy bar and restaurant on the main floor and a beautiful open air terrace on the upstairs deck.

After coming here on a little vacation and touring the fish markets he discovered the affordability of having a high quality inexpensive “fish shack.”
"Something that is almost cost prohibitive in California these days," he said.

At Joe Jack’s Fish Shack you can find the freshest local fish the market has on any given day as well as some of the “greatest hits” from his Luna Park restaurants, including the award winning mojitos and other inventive and refreshing cocktails.

In keeping with the “fish shack” concept, Joe launched an Old Fashioned Friday Night Fish Fry. It is all you can eat fish and chips with all the trimmings for 99 pesos.

He now has added another special night of 2’s. A complete dorado dinner with salad, fresh line-caught dorado with rice, beans and pico de gallo, fresh tortillas and his famous rice pudding with mangos all for $222 pesos for two.

To top it off he is giving away his award winning mojitos at two for the price of one and of course will continue the courtesy to domestic beers. All in all it looks like another great night of value at the highest quality.

In addition, he will be serving his complete menu of simply prepared Mexican inspired seafood, grilled meats, and the season’s freshest produce. If you’ve always wanted to try ceviche but were, well, apprehensive; try it here where their high standards and kitchen are wide open.
