I am a vegetarian. Most meats that I have tried are gross and have strange textures, but when I went to Joe's (my boyfriend is an avid meat eater) I was persuaded to try the fish and chips. It was absolutely wonderful! The portebella mushroom quesedilla was to die for! It was so delicious! I highly recommend Joe's to anyone visiting the Vallarta area. If your Spanish isn't the best, Joe's waiters (and waitresses) are more than able to interpret and very cheerful and experienced. Joe's gave both my boyfriend and I something to talk about!

I live in Vallarta and try to live cheap, but love to splurge on the all you can eat fish and chips after a strawberry mojito. The staff is super friendly and we always have a good laugh with them or you can sit up top away from the bustle and enjoy the cute view.

We just returned from spending the new year in PV. Went to joe jack's three times! we thought it was great! the ceviches were wonderful and the whole red snapper was delicious. This is one of my favorites in PV. they have great salads(crispy and crunchy-not wilted like a lot of the ones i've had in PV) and other non seafood options- a great burger. The atmosphere is great and the service is very sweet. I would definitely recommend this place!!

My husband saw this place in one of the booklets that we picked up at another restaurant. Although two of our taxi drivers could not find it, we decided to search ourselves in the pouring rain. Well worth the search! The Mojitos were the best in PV, bar none. The fish tacos were delicious as was the ice cold gazpacho. My husband had a chicken dish that was so juicy and tender, it melted in his mouth. I would definitely recommend this charming place and the next time we visit PV, we will come here often.

After spending three days eating chips and guacamole and drinking luke cold beers we finally found this place that was serving fresh and I'd dare to say healthy food. Great simple food without all the mexican starch diet. The ceviches and salads were such a stand out, then we had an incredible whole red snapper and spicy mole like shrimp. Kudos for pouring proper drinks as well. my girlfriend is a fiend for cosmopolitans, clearly not a mexican drink but it was one of the best i have had, and icy cold too. This is a great casual place and definitely the best food we had our whole trip.

Joe Jack's is fun!!! great fresh seafood, awesome cocktails (the best mojitos and margaritas) and cool music.The atmosphere is sexy and we couldn't believe the ceviche! sooooo good. Fish and chips are alright but there's much better stuff on the menu! this was my favorite place in PV!!! yeah joe jack's!!!

Best mojitos in PV. Service and atmosphere fantastic. Have been there twice, both times on the rooftop. Food is awesome, fresh, flavorful and plenty. We will be back again and again this winter.
